Every week the leading Masters of Sanchin-Ryu bring you insight and energy for a one-of-a-kind workout, live and online!
Tonight’s workout will be led by CI Joseph Dearman, CI Ben Dearman, DM Jake Biernacki, DM Chris Yonker or DM Mike Clay.
Welcome to a completely revised DojoChat! We go LIVE to answer your questions.
We continue to develop new ways for you to deepen your understanding of our art. We hope you enjoy our new format!
Q: How do I “private message” another Sanchinka during DojoChat?
A: Click on the Sanchinka’s name to the right of the DojoChat box. Click Private Message.
Q: I cannot see the Live workout. What can I do?
A: Try updating your browser. Additionally, upgrade your adobe flash player (free).
Q: Why does the video keep cutting out?
A: Depending on your connection speed you may require more buffering time. To adjust the buffer time setting, click the Menu button below the video. Slide the Buffer time tool bar. 0-5. The slower your connection, the more time you will require.
Q: I logged into DojoChat. How do I know when the Live workout has begun?
A: Just before the broadcast begins, the Master leading the workout will notify the viewers using the chat box.
Q: When I watch the workout, why does part of the video screen get cut off?
A: This can be caused by several things. The most likely cause is your screen width. An easy solution is loading the Dojo in two windows. Center One window on the Chat and the other on the Video.
Remember to articulate yourself in a way that is respectful to this place of learning.
Here are some ground rules:
- Treat dojo as same as you would if we could see one another
- Please address only the masters running dojo (no talking with others…you wouldn’t in class)
- If you sign in late please read all text prior to asking questions
- Bowing is assumed and not necesaary to type, however please adress masters, as masters
- When addressing the masters please use their name also so we know who you are talking to ie:Master Biernacki . In which case Master B is ok in this venue only
- Please stay on track with directions from Masters as this will help keep everyone on track
- Please understand even though we are all at keyboards, in order to maximize this venue we ask that you participate physically. Gi is optional.
