Master Biernacki,
I have been working a lot on standing up (Well, attempting to! I never noticed how my shoulders weren’t over my hips before) and I’m still having a lot of troubles with getting the second leg underneath me. (I started laughing on Sunday when you said, “…so everyone can have one successful one,” as at that point I would have been happy with a half-working one!) I can now finally get the bit of a “pop up”, sometimes even without using my hand, but as soon as I try getting the other one under I just fall back down.
It got kinda depressing after a while, but now I’m a bit obsessed with figuring it out! Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any advice on getting the second leg under; I’ll keep playing around. It has to work sometime!
Amy
Congratulations on your engagement CI JD. Thanks to all the Masters and Senseis for some thought-provoking workouts!
Thank you dhodge! I feel very blessed!
Hi Sensei McClain,
Super exercise, Thank you!
Now part of my personal workout, besides getting sloppy the faster I went it also pointed out that as I concentrated on the strikes I began to loose track of my breathing!
As you mention the more often you work this exercise the more it becomes muscle memory and other points begin to stick out that need more work.
Good cardio work out as well!
Again, Thanks a ton Sensei!
