We were rained on almost the entire time, but did that hold sanchinkas back? Not a chance! Amongst the many great workshops held last weekend, there were also some impressive recognitions as well. Several were promoted to Sho-Dan and others reached higher levels of Dan. Stay tuned to the Sanchin-Ryu Dojo, as for the next couple of weeks we’re going to be showing highlights from the event!

Congratulations to everybody!!
That is nothing shy of mega awsome! I had a chance to work with Tony this weekend at campout (first time), all I can say is thanks Tony, the tips you gave me this weekend not only improved some of my strikes but followed into this weeks class as well! Sensei Jason, Kirry and I were just talking on the way to campout how we hoped you would be there because you are always such a blast to work out with, this is such a well deserved promotion! And Dennis, if you visit this site, Super Congratulations!, we worked together a few times as brown belts and I learned a lot from you, Thank You!
Master King, WHAT A DEMO!!!!!!!! TOO COOL! Congratulations on joining a truly elite group.
To all involved or who attended campout, from the Masters to the white belts we had the opportunity to work with, thank you very very much.
This seemed to be the very best and most fun campout we have attended.
Again, congratulations to everyone who was recognized with a promotion!
Thank you Masters for such a cool weekend.

Congratulations to you Sensei Lisa on your San-Dan position (3rd degree Black Belt).
I have always appreciated the knowledge I gained from attending many of your classes on Saturday in Clarkston. You are special to me in my development and training in Sanchin Ryu, as well as special to the development and training of my kids (Faith and Steven II) in Sanchin Ryu.
We wish you well!
Congratulations Master King on your 7th degree black belt (Shichi Dan)
Though I do not know you as well, Master King, thanks for the tip at the campout in the Sanchin-Ni form about striking with the solar plexus. This tip helped me to get in close to my opponent. I had been struggling with getting in close to my opponent. As you know getting in close to your opponent is crucial in Sanchin Ryu. I brought the technique of striking with the solar plexus and demonstrated it at the Monday class in Clarkston under Sensei John White where I primarily attend and he was very pleased with my growth in getting in close into my opponent.
Master King, this tip was appreciated.
