Look at your forms on many levels: Personal balance, opponent arrangement, possible attacking scenarios and above all these, find a higher level of faith in your movement.
Chief Grand Master Dearman -exerpt from Tiger's Eye, Issue 31
WOW lol I think you both looked like you were having a ton of fun with this one
I do have a question though: every time the chair was one without arms so you could get a basic stance going on it, but most of the chairs here have arms so the only place for my feet to go are forwards. Do you have any suggestions to find a stance with both feet in front?
Thanks for the awesome video! One of my favorites already, I’ll be back to watch it more later.
Amy
very nice master biemacki
it give us pointers if we are atack .
Hi Amy, The chair arms are really great weapons. Think of them as another tool you can use to protect yourself. The same as a wall, a tree or as you can see in the video, the ground. If the chair arms are in your way for your stance, try sliding your butt forward over your heals just as if you did not have a chair. Have fun!
Master Thompson
Ah thanks for the tip Master Thompson. My brain must not be working to think about scooting forward (we need a “duh” smiley lol)Anyway, thank you, I have ideas now to play with
I just had to look at this one too, after the super workout tonight. I think everyone should review these often.
Thanks for all the work putting them together. I really appreciate it.
