Excellent video, Masters! I have looked at the headlock video several times, but I wasn’t able to see how it really worked until now. Amazing to see how stance makes all the difference in your opponent’s balance. Thanks for the additional info!

Isn’t it amazing how by regaining your stance, the situation changes from being
    the attackee to the attacker.

Wow. That makes so much more sense now thank you for breaking it down a bit. Now…to find a partner…Marge??? :) I have a list of things I want to work on with a partner once I finally get back to a class! I’m going through withdrawl… :(

My,what an inspiration to look into such a simple motion out of a number of form/kata’s.It had opened my eye’s to dig deeper into my angle’s of approach and hip placement.Take the center of yourself and it will open your opponent’s for you to manage.Thank you Master’s!^:)^

Thank you! I can really see how knowing and maintaining your center makes everything work.

Isn’t fun when something that seems so simple but is so very important hits you
right between yours eyes? It sure is to me. Now, before that feeling starts
fading away. Apply it to your basics. CBA’s and forms and re-discover them in a
    new way. Have fun.

I was actually extremely amused with the headlock scenarios, many good possibilities were shown there, I’ve learned over the years through different arts how to escape locks and what not, but the emphasis on stance and what can happen while applying a solid stance was absolutely 100% beneficial to any level student.
